Mat has been working as a photographer, designer, and filmmaker in Halifax's music community for 8 years. He has worked with countless artists such as Brent Randall and his Pinecones, Garrett Mason, Laura Peek, David Myles, Old Man Luedecke, Jon Epworth, B.A. Johnston, Jenn Grant, Joel Plaskett, The Heavy Blinkers, Rose Cousins, Ruth Minnikin, The Meligrove Band, Mark Bragg, Al Tuck and many others. As a co-founder of local Halifax record label Just Friends Records Mat has gained experience as designer, photographer and web programmer. He has worked very hard with the Just Friends roster for over 5 years providing them with photos, websites, album artwork, and Videos. Mat is also an active member of the loacal radio community with his nationally syndicated radio baking program "Lets Get Baked". On the show Mat is Both a Co-Host and Co-Producer. The show airs on over 20 radio stations nation wide, Podcasts around the world and has Occassional Spots on CBC Radio 3.
